There is a feeling you get at BLOCCS that is hard to put into words.

It is the smell of African seasonings, oils, children laughing and sounds of music drifting across Kirchberg on a warm July afternoon. It is the sound of Afrobeats spilling out of the main stage and into the streets. It is a child seeing a vendor who looks like them, selling something they made with their own hands, and understanding — maybe for the first time — that their community is here.

That feeling is what BLOCCS is built on. And this summer, we are bringing it back bigger, bolder and more beautiful than ever.

BLOCCS 2026 takes place on Sunday 5th July 2026, from 11am to 7pm at Kirchberg Amphitheater, Luxembourg City. Entry is completely free — all day, for everyone.

What Is BLOCCS?

BLOCCS stands for: Build. Learn. Opportunity. Cultural. Community. Sharing.

It is Luxembourg’s only Afro-Caribbean open-air festival — a free, family-friendly celebration of the music, food, culture, entrepreneurship and community spirit of the African and Caribbean diaspora right here in the heart of Europe.

In 2025, 645 people came through our gates. They came as strangers and left as family. Our vendors sold out. Our performers brought the crowd to their feet. Our kids’ area was full of laughter from morning to evening. And when we asked our community how they felt about the day, they gave us an NPS score of 82 — one of the highest ratings an event like ours can achieve.

In 2026, we are going further. We are targeting 2,000 attendees. We are expanding our vendor market, our stage programme and our community spaces. And we want you to be part of it.

Three Ways to Be Part of BLOCCS 2026

1. 🎪 Become a Vendor

Do you have a business, a craft, a food idea or a service you want the world to know about? BLOCCS is your stage.

Our vendor market is one of the most vibrant parts of the day — a colourful, buzzing marketplace where small business owners from Luxembourg’s African and Caribbean community come to trade, connect and grow. In 2025 we had 28 vendors. In 2026, we want 40 or more.

Whether you make jewellery, cook Caribbean food, offer beauty services, sell clothing, or run a creative business of any kind — there is a place for you at BLOCCS. Vendor pitches are affordable and accessible, and our team will support you every step of the way.

This could be the day that changes your business.

2. 🙌 Become a Volunteer

Behind every great community event is a team of people who show up — not for the glory, but because they believe in something bigger than themselves.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of BLOCCS. They are the first faces attendees see when they arrive. They are the ones keeping the kids’ area running, helping vendors set up, directing the crowd and making sure every single person who walks through our gates feels welcomed, seen and celebrated.

Volunteering at BLOCCS is more than giving your time. It is joining a movement. It is building friendships that last long after the music stops. It is standing up and saying: this community matters, and I am going to help it shine.

If you have energy, a smile and a desire to make a difference — we need you.

Every volunteer receives a BLOCCS 2026 t-shirt, food and drinks on the day, and our eternal gratitude.

3. 🎉 Register to Attend

BLOCCS is free. It will always be free. Because we believe that culture, joy and community should never come with a price tag.

But registration matters — it helps us plan, it helps us make sure every attendee has the best possible experience, and it tells us that you are coming so we can save your place in what is going to be the most incredible day Luxembourg’s African and Caribbean community has ever seen.

Come for the music. Stay for the food. Leave with your heart full.

Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring people who have never heard of BLOCCS — because by 7pm on Sunday 5th July, they will never forget it.

BLOCCS 2026. Free all day. For everyone.

Why This Platform Matters

In a landscape where representation is still evolving, visibility is not just important — it is essential. The LABEL website serves as a central hub where individuals, businesses, and communities can come together with purpose.

It creates space to:

Discover and support Black-owned businesses
Stay connected to events and opportunities
Build meaningful professional and social networks
Access a growing ecosystem rooted in culture and community

More importantly, it ensures that our stories, achievements, and contributions are not only seen — but valued and sustained.

From Community to Ecosystem

What began as a series of events has grown into something much bigger.

LABEL is evolving into a platform that brings together:

Culture, through experiences that celebrate identity
Entrepreneurship, through visibility and opportunity
Community, through connection and shared spaces
Legacy, through intentional growth and long-term impact

The website is a reflection of that evolution — a place where all these elements come together.

Building with Intention

Every part of this platform has been designed with purpose.

From the business directory to the events page, from membership to future programming — the goal is simple: to create access, amplify voices, and strengthen community.

This is not just about what exists today. It is about what we are building for the future.

What Comes Next

The launch of the LABEL website is only the beginning.

As the platform grows, so will the opportunities:

More businesses featured
More events and experiences
Expanded youth and community programming
Stronger partnerships and collaborations

This is a living platform — one that will continue to evolve with the community it serves.

A Collective Vision

LABEL is built on the belief that when people come together with intention, we create more than success — we create legacy.

This website is an invitation:
To connect.
To contribute.
To be part of something bigger.

Welcome to LABEL.
