1. About LABEL

LABEL (Luxembourg Afro-Black Excellence Leaders) is a non-profit community organisation and platform dedicated to connecting, celebrating and empowering African, Caribbean and Black communities in Luxembourg. These Terms govern your use of our website and services at label-konect.com.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering as a member, listing a business, submitting an event, or using any feature of the LABEL platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

3. Membership

Membership of the LABEL community is open to individuals who identify as part of the African, Caribbean and Black diaspora in Luxembourg, as well as allies who wish to support and engage with the community.

• You must provide accurate information when registering
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must not share your account with others
• You must be at least 18 years of age to register
• LABEL reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Business Directory Listings

Business owners may submit listings to the LABEL directory subject to the following:

• Listings must represent genuine businesses or services belonging to the African and/or Caribbean diaspora community
• All information submitted must be accurate, truthful and up to date
• LABEL reserves the right to review, reject or remove any listing that does not meet our community standards
• You are responsible for keeping your listing information current
• LABEL does not verify or endorse any business listed on the platform
• Basic listings are free. Premium tiers may be available at additional cost

5. Events

Events submitted to the LABEL platform must be relevant to the African, Caribbean and Black community in Luxembourg. LABEL reserves the right to decline events that do not align with our community values. Event organisers are solely responsible for the content, delivery and legal compliance of their events.

6. Community Blog & Content

Members may submit stories and content to the LABEL community blog subject to the following:

• All content must be your own original work
• Content must not infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Content must not be defamatory, discriminatory, harmful or illegal
• By submitting content you grant LABEL a non-exclusive licence to publish it on the platform
• LABEL reserves the right to edit, decline or remove content at our discretion

7. Community Standards

All members, business owners and event organisers must adhere to our community standards. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, discrimination or abuse of any community member
• Spam, unsolicited messages or promotional content outside designated areas
• False or misleading information about yourself, your business or events
• Content that is hateful, violent, sexually explicit or otherwise harmful
• Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations

Violations may result in immediate removal from the platform without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

The LABEL brand, logo, website design and original content are the intellectual property of LABEL Luxembourg. You may not use, reproduce or distribute our branding or content without prior written permission.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the platform. By submitting content, you grant LABEL a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on our platform and associated social media channels.

9. Limitation of Liability

LABEL provides this platform on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LABEL disclaims all liability for:

• Inaccuracies in business listings or event information
• Any transactions between community members or businesses
• Loss of data or interruption of service
• Any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform

LABEL is not a party to any transaction between users and listed businesses.

10. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to external websites including Eventbrite, social media platforms and business websites. LABEL is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Luxembourg. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Luxembourg courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

LABEL reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to registered members by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
